About / Founder / Board / StaffThe name says it all BigAir for Skiers, Snowboarders and Wakeboarders andBumps for skiers, hence the BigAirandBumps.com Club. Started by it’s founder Dave Valenti, the clubs managing director to develop and manage a grass roots to World Class training center here in the Puget Sound area. Dave’s goal has been to develop, locally, a training environment/facility with top world class, national and regional role models, mentors and coaches so local developing athletes don’t need to leave to progress to the next level. These are the Smarts Dave Valenti was so fortunate to learn here locally, then nationally and internationally and now bringing it home. Part of this knowledge has helped Dave significantly reduce his risk for injury and recover 100 plus percent from the injuries he has had. Thinking like this the Ski Industry now calls Smart Style and can be seen here at: www.terrainparksafety.org Come Style It Smart with BigAirandBumps.com Club. Dave Valenti - (Founder, President and Head Coach) This yellow capped stompin ripper, with a passion for Bumps/mogul skiing in search of the ultimate carve turn over varied terrain and loves BigAir on anything and now this Old School BigAirandBumps freak is also going New School, Smart Style Park and Pipe, still Bonanza Bombin now in Central Park with a little more variety on my K2 Extreme Twin Tips mostly switch. The man, who once said, “If I build it, they will jump” has dedicated the past ten years to sharing his versatility, a Gold Medal mindset, and talent with aspiring athletes and BigAirandBumps enthusiasts.
Combine the talents of a respected world-class freestyle competitor with those of a Level 3 U.S. Freestyle Aerial Coach and Professional Event Organizer / Production Manager and what do you get? Dave Valenti! There are few accomplished athletes who can transition well into a suit and tie, negotiate top dollar contracts, and can coordinate the logistics to produce aerial events across five continents. Dave has earned a respected reputation as a true professional by consistently delivering spectacular freestyle performances on time, within budget, and without compromising safety. What else could one want from a Freestyle Coach? Not only will aspiring athletes fine-tune their technique, expand their skills sets, and hone their attitude to one that delivers winning performances and education is also a key component of extreme sport jumping. Dave is a progressive Coach who teaches the fine art of how to use Disco Sticks, throw a Blindside and Huck big while avoiding a Slam. While these terms may seem irrelevant to the average bystander, it is critical the athlete knows which ones to buy, which one’s to practice, and which one’s to avoid.
